Service a benefits plan from the account itself
Plan details auto-ingest from the carrier summary, and compliance dates and servicing history sit with them
For Benefits Brokers
One system to run P&C and Benefits. From plan data capture to quote to enroll, your team can manage your benefits book from a single system instead of disconnected ones.
A benefits book can only grow as fast as your team can manage its plan details, and in many agencies those details are spread across carrier summaries, quoting tools and spreadsheets. Plan setup, enrollment windows, compliance dates and commission statements all take time from the same people. Applied Epic® uses AI to read the carrier plan summary and fill in plan details, with anything uncertain flagged for review. Quoting and servicing run from that same record, next to the client’s P&C policies, and commission statements match to the plan behind them. New hires learn one workspace, and the benefits book can grow without another set of tools to license or another spreadsheet to keep in sync.
Saved hours mean earlier renewal outreach, deeper account reviews, and more markets for every risk.

Quote small group medical and dental in Applied Epic, or bring quoted plans in from an outside platform without rekeying them.
Plan year, enrollment window and compliance status sort the book, so each group hears from you on time.
Statement lines match to the plan and the policy behind them, so finance sees what each payment covers.

Read the blogWhether it understands a plan, not just a policy. Benefits work runs on plan design, rates, eligibility, compliance dates and enrollment, and software built only for property and casualty tends to approximate all of it.
The second question is whether the same client can hold benefits and P&C, so one conversation covers the whole relationship.
Yes, and it changes the economics of a benefits practice when it does. Plan data, servicing history and commissions sit alongside the property and casualty account, so there’s one client record rather than two books.
It also removes the reconciliation between systems, which is where most of the administrative cost of running both actually sits.
Hold the whole lifecycle. Health insurance broker software has to carry plan setup, quoting or plan intake, enrollment data, servicing and commission reconciliation, because a gap in any one of them becomes a spreadsheet.
It should also accept plans from an outside quoting or enrollment platform rather than requiring them to be rekeyed.
Benefits commissions are usually paid per member or as a percentage of premium and arrive monthly, adjusting as enrollment changes. P&C commissions attach to a policy term and change far less often.
That difference is why benefits statements are harder to reconcile: the amount owed moves with headcount, so each line has to match back to the plan behind it.
